Training (BCCAN): ADA; POA/Trusts/Guardianships

We are planning a two-part presentation. The morning session will be a review of the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) with Attorney Paul O’Hanlon. Mr. O’Hanlon was a staff attorney with the Disability Rights Network of Pennsylvania from 2001 to 2014. Mr. O’Hanlon has been involved in a number of advocacy issues in Allegheny County, particularly around housing, accessible public transportation, and voter engagement.
The afternoon session will be a presentation by Attorney Joe Olimpi on Power of Attorney/Trusts/Guardianship . Mr. Olimpi has been practicing elder law for thirty-five years, and for years carried the sole responsibility for service to older adults under the TItle III-B contracts in the region.
Lunch will be provided between the programs to allow participants a chance to network.
People can register for either session or both.
