Options: Vision, Mission and/or Purpose of OrganizationDisability Options Network empowers people with disabilities to live as independently as they choose in Beaver, Butler, Lawrence and Mercer Counties. We work hard to encourage people with disabilities to make their own choices and works to open doors in the community to full participation and access for all.
Disability Options Network is also a grassroots advocacy organization. We strive to provide independence and empowerment at a systemic level as well as at an individual level, and frame the issues as civil rights for all people with disabilities.

Volunteer DescriptionFrom time to time we have volunteer opportunities assisting people with disabilities. The work involved includes only simple tasks that will help enhance the lives of people with disabilities. Some examples are weatherizing a residence, moving an appliance, and cleaning out gutters.
