Center for Hope is a faith-based community center. The Center provides outreach and service to a community that has undergone economic hardship and demographic change. The Center provides character education, recreation, academic preparation and employment readiness for the community with a focus on programs for low income clients in the greater Ambridge area.
Food and clothing for the less fortunate are the primary programs at Center for Hope.

Services Provided

Service Description

  • The Benefit Bank: Connects communities and their residents to available resources for low and moderate income families.

    Ambridge Area Food Pantry: A program of the Ambridge Ministerium providing food to persons who are unable to purchase enough food for themselves and their families because of an emergency or other crisis. The pantry is open the last two Tuesday evenings of the month from 7-8:30 PM.

Available Hours

Winter business hours are Noon-3pm Monday through Thursday followed by the after school program.
