CHIP / Direct Pay Caring Program: hospitalization, doctor visits, specialist visits, diagnostic testing, emergency care, outpatient surgery, prescription coverage, dental/vision/hearing care, and mental health and substance abuse care.
Adult Basic Medical hospitalization, doctor visits, specialist visits, diagnostic testing, emergency care, outpatient surgery, and maternity.

Eligibility RequirementsCHIP and Direct Pay Caring Program is for uninsured children and newborns through 18 years of age who are not eligible for Medical Assistance (Medicaid). Adult Basic is for uninsured adults ages 19 through 64 who are not eligible for Medical Assistance (Medicaid) or Medicare. Eligibility is based on family size and income (as well as children's ages for the CHIP program).
