Job Training for Beaver County (JTBC, Inc. is a private nonprofit organization that addresses the diverse career and employment needs of adults, dislocated workers, and youth, along with the important workforce development priorities of employers.
The vision of JTBC is to improve the economic outlook and opportunities within our communities while partnering with key stakeholders in Southwestern Pennsylvania through grants, industry partnerships, and leveraged resources.
The mission of JTBC is to serve as a channel between the workforce and employers to meet the employment needs of the region.History of Organization:
For over 25 years, JTBC has successfully made available programming activities through federal workforce development legislation such as the Job Training Partnership Act of 1982 and the Workforce Investment Act of 1998. During this span, more than 10,000 individuals have been served with target populations including adults, dislocated workers, and youth.Affiliations
