Our mission statement speaks to our complete and unequivocal commitment to do all in our power to improve the lives of children and families everywhere and especially those whose lives we touch. There is no challenge too big or barrier too strong to keep us from doing our utmost on their behalf. We succeed when they succeed, then and only then.
History of Organization:Since 1832, Pressley Ridge has understood that all children can change and grow and that all families can use support. We help over 5,400 children and families annually through Educational Opportunities, Foster Care Connections, Residential Options, and Community-based Support with locations in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, as well as internationally in Portugal and Hungary.

Services ProvidedFees/Cost for ServicesThere are no fees to families who participate in this service. This service is reimbursable by Medical Assistance, behavioral health managed care companies and a SAMHSA federal grant BC SCORES.
Eligibility RequirementsThis target population will enter Enhanced Family Based Mental Health services through the BC SCORES intake process. Several systems can identify a youth for entry into BC SCORES, including JSD, District Magistrates, Alternative Schools, CYS, and self referrals. If recommended, the youth and family will be referred for Enhanced Family Based Mental Health services.
