Options: Vision, Mission and/or Purpose of OrganizationHOBC provides mortgage Foreclosure Intervention Services, including but not limited to ACT 91 applications and the Beaver County mortgage Diversion and Conciliation Program.
Also,each year, Beaver County allocates funds towards down payment and closing cost assistance to low/moderate income people who buy their first home in Beaver County.
The 2005/2006 Program allows for down payment
and closing cost assistance if your household income is below 100% of median income. Applicant must have acceptable credit and work history to qualify for a mortgage.
If your income does not exceed the guidelines, you may be eligible for this assistance. The assistance is meant for those folks who may not be able to save the thousands of dollars it would take for down payment and closing costs
History of Organization:Founded as a 501(c)3 Non Profit Corporation in 1994, HOBC has administered the Beaver County First Time Homebuyer Program in addition to Financial Counseling, Energy assistance counseling and Pre and Post Purchase mortgage counseling.
Options: Accreditations and LicensesCounselors are Certified in Foreclosure Intervention and pre-purchase counseling.
AffiliationsHUD and PHFA approved Counseling Agency.
