About the Training:
¨ Participants will gain an understanding of trauma-informed care and response in
working with adults who experienced childhood trauma.
¨ Gain an awareness of what types of experiences may be considered childhood
traumas.
¨ Explore how trauma impacts the body and brain.
¨ Develop an understanding of the relationship between a child’s trauma history and
their behaviors and responses as an adult.
¨ Establish strategies for implementing trauma-informed care in your work.
¨ Practice coping and self-care skills that can be utilized by both clients and direct
practice workers.
Who Should Attend:
This training is for educators and agency personnel who deal with students/clients/families who have themselves or family members/friends who work with
individuals who suffer from impact of childhood trauma on the adult experience.

CEU’s are NOT available for this training.
