Early Head Start is a federally-funded program providing free services to low income families. Services center around the family by supporting the child�s development; strengthening the role of the parent; and promoting healthy, self-sufficient families.
Lifesteps Early Head Start is free and supports eligible families in Beaver County through home-based visits designed to help meet the needs of each child and his/her family. Home-based visits provide a comfortable and familiar environment for both the child and the parent to connect with a program staff member. These free visits are conducted weekly with services available year round.

Services ProvidedService Description- The Home Visit Program delivers comprehensive child development, parenting enrichment support and information, and social services for all eligible Beaver County families through weekly in-home visits and regularly scheduled group socialization opportunities.
The Childcare Program is for infants and toddlers of parents enrolled in Aliquippa School District. It provides information and support in the areas of child development, parenting skills, and mentoring of student-parents.
The Therapeutic Classroom Program is a classroom-based comprehensive child development and parenting education/parent support programming. Classroom operates part-day programming four days per week.
Parent participation with child in classroom encouraged one day per week. Therapeutic program guidelines include specific enrollment criteria.

Fees/Cost for ServicesFree for Income eligible families. must meet Federal eligibility guidelines
Eligibility RequirementsPregnant women and children from birth to 3 years of age living in Beaver County.
