The Mission of the PA CareerLink Beaver County site is to link employers and job seekers to workforce and career services that will advance their economic well being.

The Vision of the local CareerLink is to advance the economic well being of the area by developing an effective workforce development system that services and supports area employers and citizens. The system will complement the overall education and economic strategy in the creation of a high quality and globally competitive workforce. This will be achieved by the integration and co-location of key employment, education/training and human service organizations that will guide resources in a customer focused and user-friendly manner and allow for growth and change.

Service Description

  • CareerLink partners include: Job Training for Beaver County, Bureau of Workforce Development Partnership, Adult Literacy Action, County Assistance Office, Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, Veterans services, Community College of Beaver County, Pittsburgh Technical Institute, DCI Career Institute, Penn State Beaver - Continuing Education, Senior Services, Housing Authority of Beaver County, Arbor, etc. Services provided by partners include tutoring in math/reading/computers, GED classes, career exploration, job listings, referral service, labor market information, applicant screening for employers, internet resume access, recruitment assistance, etc.

8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Mon., Wed., Thur., Fri.; 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Tues.

Eligibility Requirements

None for utilizing the Career Resource Center (job listings, referral services, workshops, etc.). Some programs require eligibility guidelines.
