History of Organization:

Profile 2020/21
The Mental Health Association (MHA) in Beaver County began as the Mental Health Society back in 1954 and is now in its 67th year. It was founded to promote better mental health in Beaver County, to aid in the prevention of mental and emotional disturbances, and to support the establishment of appropriate services for the treatment of mental illness in Beaver County.
The MHA has at its core, recovery focused programs that implement a holistic approach that promotes wellness, welcoming, and support for individuals who have struggled with mental health challenges. Services are provided to residents of Beaver County at no cost.
