Project HOPE, HIV Outreach, Prevention and Education is committed to the well being, service caring and preservation of dignity to those with HIV/AIDS and those affected by HIV/AIDS. Project HOPE is dedicated toward community awareness, prevention, education and understanding while promoting over discrimination.

History of Organization:

Project HOPE began in December 2008 with the help of Larry Berger and Drug and Alcohol Services of Beaver County. Since 2008, Project HOPE has provided services to 22 clients and their families, held 37 support groups where an average of 10 clients attend (monthly), distributed 720 boxes of food to our clients, given over 150 HIV Orasure tests and held over 30 community events.

Eligibility Requirements

HIV +/AIDS diagnosis for Support Groups/Food Bank ---
general public and at risk populations for HIV testing. Must be 14 years of age or older to be tested. Under 14 requires parental consent
