To improve the quality of life and safeguard the self-respect for its Beaver County neighbors who find help at home necessary, the Agency is devoted to the mission of "Caring For You At Home. . . Our Only Business."
For over 40 years Homemaker-Home Health Aide Service of Beaver County, Inc. has cared for our frail elderly, young adults, chronic or terminally ill, convalescing, and disabled neighbors to help:
Improve personal dignity, self esteem and quality of life
Prolong independence at home
Increase comfort
Reduce stress
Reduce feelings of loneliness
Avert unnecessary or unwanted institutional care
Strengthen and safeguard the family
Help individuals remain productive
The "Homemaker" Agency was created under the auspices of the United Way of Beaver County and Children's Aide and Family Services in 1971. Then, in 1978 the Board of Directors decided to incorporate Homemaker-Home Health Aide Service of Beaver County, Inc. into a separate entity.
