About the Program:
The webinar presentation will begin at 9 am. 2.5 hrs Continuing Credits are available from the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Social Work, to satisfy requirements for LSW/LCSW, LPC and LMFT. $15.00 fee
2.5 CEU’s will be offered – Fee $15.00 – When you attend the webinar you will be invoiced for the CEU’s via paypal. Once payment is received, University of Pittsburgh will issue the certificates via email.
Compassion fatigue is known to professionals by many names – secondary victimization, secondary traumatic stress disorder, vicarious traumatization. This training involves solutions which can make a dramatic difference in the professional and private lives of those working with and around trauma.
Workshop participants will learn:
- What compassion fatigue is
- What are symptoms of compassion fatigue
- What are remedies to help combat compassion fatigue
- What happens if compassion fatigue is unrecognized or fails to get help

This training is for educators and agency personnel who deal with students/clients/families who have themselves or family members/friends who work with individuals who suffer from compassion fatigue.
