PROJECTS/PARTNERSHIPS

CAN partners with community organizations to improve family and well-being in Beaver County. We have found that collaborating with others in the community improves everyone’s chances of success.

The following is a list of CAN’s current projects and partnerships.

Projects

Countywide Human Service Training Seminars

The Beaver County Collaborative Action Network has successfully sponsored community training seminars for over seven years.  The trainings are geared toward universal community service topics such as teenage mental health, child abuse, cultural diversity, ethics in the workplace and school readiness.

Please visit the calendar of events section of the website for information on the next training seminar.

Leadership Forums

The Beaver County Collaborative Action Network hosts leadership forums for directors and administrators of Beaver County organizations who serve individuals and families.  The forums provide a venue for directors to discuss common managerial issues, brainstorm solutions that improve the human service delivery system and network and support each other.

The Leadership Forums are presently scheduled every other month. They are usually held at the Women’s Center in Beaver.

If you are a director or administrator in Beaver County and want to learn more about our leadership forums, please contact us at 724-775-6001.
